The Jaman South district is one of the Twenty two (22) administrative districts in Brong- Ahafo Region of Ghana. It shares common borders with Berekum Municipal to the south-east, Jaman North District to the North, Dormaa Municipal to the south and La Cote d’Ivoire in the west.
The district with its capital at Drobo has a total land area of about 700km and about 130 settlements most of which are rural and have a population less than 400. It has a total land area of 1,500 square kilometres.
